We took the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria, BC for the weekend and had a terrific time! The weather was beautiful and it was great fun to stroll around the beautiful parks and harbor with no specific agenda. Felicity is an excellent traveler, and Julian is getting better at it (though he didn’t sleep nearly as much as we would have liked him to). We enjoyed watching the sea planes and the seals in the harbor, quacking at ducks in Beacon Park, having Chinese snacks in China Town, and looking for pirates in the Maritime museum. The only dissappointment was that we were one month too early for the new dinosaur exhibit at the Victoria Museum. Maybe it was just as well though, because for all his tough talk of fighting predators, Julian was seriously very afraid of the T Rex statue advertising the coming exhibit. It took a lot of coaxing to get him to stand near it for a photo.
